This was my first time using gelatin. What i was going for was someone who got bit by a some sort of bug or reptile and they're starting to turn into that creature but they're still transforming.

25. if using gel or very thick blood, dilute with a little water so it is more of a liquid.
26. apply fake blood all over the bubbles with a brush, use stippling sponge to even out.

  1. First of all, I'd like to commend you on some great artistry & technique. I love the fact that you list the products and procedures! Truly fantastic. I'm particularly taken with the stippling, reptile-pattern on the green side of your face. It reminds me of Roy Lichtenstein. The torn & bloody skin side is appropriately gruesome & nicely done. If I offered any suggestion at all, I'd like to see a small bit of segue from the green to the red side. That's just a matter of something I'd like to see how it would look, rather than a "you should have". I'm impressed with your work, Onie and I'm not one to give that up lightly. You're obviously a gifted artist & I look forward to seeing more.
